In such a pleasant climate, the sun seems to shine every day. The economy of the State of California is also the largest in the United States, comprising high-tech companies, biotechnology, airlines, and financial institutions. If we regarded California as an independent country, its 2015 and 2017 Gross Domestic Product (GDP) would surpass that of Brazil, France, and the United Kingdom, respectively.
