➊ Texas Chapter

The Tzu Chi Texas Branch, later upgraded to the Texas Chapter, holds its inaugural meeting on January 6, 1991, and elects Taishan Huang (fifth left) as head of the Branch. ➋ Austin Service Center

➌ San Antonio Office

Beginning in 2010, Tzu Chi volunteer Huimei Pai offered her family's hotel as a location for Tzu Chi USA's San Antonio Office. However, since the hotel closed for business in August 2022, San Antonio volunteers are looking for a new location for their office. Photo/Tzu Chi USA San Antonio Office

➏ Atlanta Branch

➐ New Orleans Office

After Hurricane Katrina almost destroyed the entire city of New Orleans on August 29, 2005, Tzu Chi disaster relief volunteers march into the Ford Park Complex in Beaumont, Texas, on September 4, to help Katrina survivors who evacuated to Texas.
